Develop and implement comprehensive security programs, policies and procedures to ensure the protection of the organization's assets, employees and facilities.
Report to the Head of Security on all security matters affecting Greenville locations.
Lead security investigations, maintain incident reports and support local law enforcement as needed
Provide effective, reliable and on time intelligence information to facilitate line management to effectively perform their professional duties to the company.
Manage and maintain physical security systems and equipment, such as access control systems, security cameras, and alarms.
Establish and maintain partnerships with local law enforcement, emergency services, security contractors, and other stakeholders to enhance security operations.
Actively participating in the development of succession planning and performance management for security personnel.
Forge strong relationships with Commercial and Logistics teams to embed their needs in the implementation of the broad security agenda. Facilitate regular communication and collaborative initiatives with other stakeholders that highlight the importance of Corporate Security.
Train and educate employees on security best practices and emergency procedures
Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy
Manage and oversee the work of security personnel to ensure they meet the organization's standards.
Review and propose improvement on current journey management procedures and practices.
Any other business as may be assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a minimum bachelor’s degree in security management, law or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate security management or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security programs, policies and procedures.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with physical security systems, access control systems, security cameras and alarms.
Willingness to submit to and pass pre-employment screening process, to include drug screen and background investigation.
Certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are a plus.
Previous experience in law enforcement will be added advantage.
