We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented School Principal to lead the institution. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of school management, ensuring the delivery of quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction to staff and students in achieving the school’s mission and goals.
Develop and implement educational programs that meet national and school-specific curriculum standards.
Oversee daily school operations, including academics, administration, and extracurricular activities.
Manage, and mentor a team of dedicated teachers and support staff.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, conducting regular appraisals and facilitating professional development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, community stakeholders, and educational authorities.
Prepare and manage the school budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
Uphold safety and discipline standards to foster a secure and nurturing environment for students and staff.
Promote extracurricular programs that enhance students’ holistic development.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
A good number of years of teaching and administrative experience in a secondary school setting, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Strong understanding of the Nigerian educational system and WAEC/NECO curriculum standards.
Excellent organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using modern administrative tools and technology.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) or equivalent certification is an advantage.
Demonstrated commitment to academic and character excellence.
