Job Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and qualified Matron to oversee the daily operations of our school kitchen and dining facilities. The successful candidate musthave a strong background in food and nutrition, with excellent leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage kitchen staff and oversee food preparation and service
• Develop and implement menus that meet nutritional standards
• Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are maintained
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide nutritional support to residents/patients
• Manage inventory and supplies

Requirements:

• Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
• Relevant experience in food service management
• 3+ years experience in an educational setting is required
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and dietary principles
• Must have experience with handling kitchen staff.
• Experience in catering management is a great advantage
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Must be willing to stay in the school
