Salon and Retail Manager at Kinky Apothecary

We are looking for a Salon + Retail Manager for our flagship location in Ikoyi, Lagos.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the day-to-day operations in the salon and analyzing results
• Managing salon staff + timetables
• Managing the salon booking process + ensuring client satisfaction
• Aiding in developing new structures and processes 


• Assisting in executing KA sales + marketing strategy 

• Liaising + networking with a range of stakeholders: senior management, suppliers, colleagues + partner organisations,

In summary, the main aim of the role is to ensure the smooth running of our salon, addressing/troubleshooting problems as they arise, managing staff and effectively communicating store activities to the Founder and other senior management.

We are looking for someone with the following non-negotiable characteristics:

• Previous experience managing a salon or retail team (we will follow up on references)
• A “people person” – someone who can get on with junior staff, senior management and customers alike
• A problem solver who doesn’t just burden management with issues, but can think through and present potential solutions
• A team player who truly wants to see the business succeed
• Demonstrable professionalism and ambition, with an extremely strong work ethic
• The ability to think on your feet without requiring constant instructions or validation
• Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written)

5 Days/Week based in Ikoyi. Some Sunday afternoon shifts required
