As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s sales processes within the manufacturing and construction sector.
You will support the sales team by streamlining operations, analyzing performance metrics, improving customer engagement strategies, and ensuring the execution of sales initiatives that drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage efficient sales processes to support the achievement of business goals.
Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to guide strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with the sales and project teams to ensure accurate pricing, proposal preparation, and contract execution.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.
Work closely with the finance and operations teams to ensure alignment between sales, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Support the recruitment, training, and development of the sales team to drive productivity and high performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership in developing customer engagement strategies, ensuring timely follow-ups, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Drive continuous process improvement by identifying gaps, implementing tools, and adopting best practices in sales operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in sales operations, preferably within the construction, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
Strong knowledge of construction/manufacturing sales cycles, project bidding, and contract management.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools; ERP knowledge is a plus.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
Goal-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
