Sales Merchandiser - Abuja at 25th and Staffing

What you will be doing:

• Sales and Merchandising: Execute sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed sales targets. Ensure our products are displayed prominently and attractively in retail outlets.
• Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships
• with retailers and distributors to ensure product availability and visibility.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer preferences, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Reporting: Prepare clear and concise sales and inventory reports using MS Office tools. Provide regular feedback and reports to management.
• Promotions and Events: Plan and execute promotional activities and events to increase brand awareness and sales.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies.
• Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals.

What we are looking for:

• 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in sales and merchandising, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Minimum qualification of HND in related field.
• Proven leadership and teamwork experience.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and best practices for creating attractive and impactful product displays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with retail store personnel and customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a focus on accuracy.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn about the cashew industry and new products.
• Additional Preferences:
• Experience in a food processing company.
• Strong understanding of the FMCG industry dynamics.
