    Sales Manager

    OUTLINE OF THE JOB                                                                                              

    Responsible for driving Sygnite’s corporate sales and ensuring the goals and objectives of the B.D team are accomplished within the stipulated time frame.

    RESPONSIBILITIES                   

    • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify potential areas for expansion.
    • Develop a strategic sales plan, define specific objectives, and establish measurable targets.
    • Attend relevant industry events, engage with potential clients, and showcase Sygnite's products and services.
    • Reach out to prospective clients, schedule sales calls, and organize site visits to assess project requirements.
    • Maintain a daily sales call log and schedule site inspection trips according to client availability and interest.
    • Onboard new clients for solar system installation monthly.
    • Prospect potential clients, pitch solar system solutions, and facilitate the onboarding process.
    • Plan and execute field sales initiatives, coordinate with the Engineering team for technical support, and engage with potential customers.
    • Prioritize customer satisfaction, address inquiries and concerns promptly, and uphold company service standards.
    • Identify potential project opportunities, conduct site surveys, and present solar solutions to clients.
    • Collaborate with the sales team, contribute to sales presentations, and engage with potential clients.
    • Communicate regularly with the operations teams, collaborate on projects, and address any issues or challenges.
    • Participate in client meetings, provide support to sales representatives, and evaluate sales strategies.
    • Network with industry professionals, attend networking events, and cultivate business connections.
    • Respond promptly to inquiries, follow up on leads, and provide necessary information to clients.
    • Compile sales data, analyze performance metrics, and prepare comprehensive sales reports.
    • Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Broad understanding of sales operations, closing sales with HNIs, and ability to meet sales targets.
    • Excellent understanding of the utility industry, consumer-oriented Solid understanding of the renewable energy marketplace. Understands market dynamics as well as the legal and regulatory landscape.
    • Proven work experience (3-5 years) as sales personnel especially in the Renewable Energy space.

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED                                                                                              

    • Strong Analytical & problem-solving Skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Good Communication skills (written & oral)
    • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators
    • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
    • Ability to handle presentations and facilitation of sales and direct marketing training.
    • Display an orientation to profitability.
    • Demonstration of the knowledge of market and competition
    • Ability to be decisive and make timely decisions.
