    Sales Manager (New Car)

    About the job

    • We are a Chinese automotive brand dealer looking for an experienced Sales Manager based in Lagos, Nigeria, to help us expand our business for our new vehicles :

    Key Responsibilities:

    Market Expansion & Sales Target Achievement

    • Lead new vehicle sales in Nigeria, developing short-term (3-6 months) market penetration strategies to rapidly increase brand market share.
    • Develop local dealer networks, corporate clients (e.g., car rental companies, mining groups), and government procurement channels to meet annual sales targets.
    • Lead price negotiations, contract signing, and delivery processes, ensuring payment security.

    Local Resource Integration

    • Leverage existing local resources (automotive associations, financial institutions, media, etc.) to drive sales conversions.
    • Expand key contacts (e.g., tribal leaders, chamber of commerce representatives) to address localization challenges.

    Market Intelligence & Feedback

    • Monitor competitor activities (e.g., pricing and promotions of brands like Toyota, Kia) and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
    • Analyze consumer preferences (e.g., demand for SUVs/pickup trucks) and provide recommendations for model introductions.

    Requirements:

    • Established local resources (dealers, corporate clients, auto-financing partnerships).
    • Proven track record in auto sales (experience with Chinese brands is a plus).
    • Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Traits: Highly self-motivated, result-driven, and able to work under pressure.
    • Integrity: Strong ethical standards and professionalism.
