    Sales and Marketing Officer

    If you live and breathe marketing, we need to talk. We’re looking for a flexible and versatile Marketer who will be responsible for the growth of the company at the same time build a solid career with us.

    The  Sales /Marketing Officer responsibilities include tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity and ROI.

    To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience working in a Bank/Micro Financial and Money Lending Institution.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
    • Identify and develop highly promising virgin/uncongested territories within assigned region
    •  Deploy successful marketing campaigns
    •  Achieve monthly sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
    • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and social media handle that attracts and converts our target groups
    • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
    • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
    • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
    • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
    • Present, demonstrate and promote the company products and services by using solid arguments to existing and prospective customer.
    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business relationships with existing and prospective customers.
    • Reach out to prospective customer leads through phone call and visitations.
    • Expedite the resolution of customer’ problems and complaints to related unit within 24hr to maximize satisfaction.
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
    • Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
    • Have information on daily/weekly/monthly volume and value transactions done by your team members.
    • Bring in customers for both investment, savings and loans
    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
    • Deploy applicable promotional material to customer’s location to achieve better brand visibility.
    • Researching and analyzing market trends and competitors
    • Overseeing marketing campaigns.
    • Tracking effectiveness of marketing campaigns and reporting findings to the executive team.
    • Negotiating and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
    • Looking after the budget of the marketing department and making sure the budget spend is delivering a return on investment.
    • Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship
    • Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing and promotions
    • Coordinate and motivate team members in achieving Department goals and sales targets
    • Any other task as assigned by the MD

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn
    • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
    • Solid knowledge of banking/Lending and Investment operational activities/Retail and Consumer Loan processing
    • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
    • Good knowledge of investment portfolio
    • Candidate must have strong Existing Client data base portfolio to leverage on.
    • BSc/MSc degree in Marketing or related field
    • 3-6 years working experience in a in Financial Sector-Bank/ Micro Finance and lending Institutions
    • Must be computer literate and strong presentation Skills
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and in writing)
    • People and customer management skills
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Creatively minded, good at thinking outside the box
