Retail Distribution Manager at Wemy Industries Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an effective retail distribution strategy that aligns with company goals and market demand.
• Oversee distributor and retail coverage across assigned territories; optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage relationships with distributors and retailers, ensuring adequate stock levels, timely delivery, and adherence to company standards.
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive volume growth, increase market share, and identify new retail opportunities.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth flow of goods from plant to shelf.
• Track retail KPIs such as stock availability, order fulfillment rate, delivery time, and customer satisfaction; generate weekly/monthly reports.
• Lead and supervise the retail distribution team (sales reps, delivery personnel, merchandisers), providing training, guidance, and performance management.
• Ensure that all distribution activities comply with hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Monitor competitors’ distribution practices and consumer trends to stay ahead in the market.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG distribution management, preferably within hygiene or personal care products.
• Proven knowledge of retail supply chains and route-to-market strategies.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and distribution software/ERP systems.
