Restaurant Manager at One StepAhead Consulting

The Restaurant Manager oversees all daily restaurant operations, ensuring high service quality, strong staff performance, cost control, and overall profitability. The role focuses on delivering excellent guest experiences while managing people, finances, inventory, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Focus Areas

• Operations & Service: Manage front- and back-of-house operations, uphold SOPs and brand standards, ensure smooth kitchen coordination, and resolve guest issues.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff; conduct performance reviews and build a high-performing, customer-focused team.
• Financial Control: Drive sales targets, control food and labour costs, monitor profitability, and ensure accurate cash handling and reporting.
• Inventory & Procurement: Oversee stock control, supplier performance, FIFO practices, and loss prevention.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant/hospitality management
• Strong leadership, financial discipline, and customer service skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple shifts
