    Relationship Officers (Sales Executives)

    Job Summary

    The Relationship Officer will be responsible for driving growth in the bank’s customer base by identifying new business opportunities, mobilizing deposits, and selling a wide range of financial products. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for new customers, ensuring excellent service delivery while consistently meeting and exceeding monthly sales targets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Customer Acquisition: Identify and onboard new individual and corporate customers to grow the bank\\\'s market share.
    • Deposit Mobilization: Proactively drive the opening of Current and Savings Accounts (CASA) and ensure consistent deposit growth within an assigned portfolio.
    • Product Cross-Selling: Market and sell various banking products, including Personal Loans, Credit/Debit Cards, Insurance, and Digital Banking solutions (Apps/USSD).
    • Market Storming: Participate in regular market activations, \\\"roadshows,\\\" and community engagement activities to increase brand visibility and lead generation.
    • Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers to ensure retention and high-quality service delivery.
    • KYC Compliance: Ensure all account opening documents and customer information comply with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and internal bank policies.
    • Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor activities and market trends to provide feedback for product improvement.
    • Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to the Team Lead/Branch Manager.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Education: HND or B.Sc. in any discipline from a recognized institution.
    • Age: Maximum of 35 years at the time of application.
    • Experience: Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service (especially within the financial sector) is an added advantage, but entry-level candidates with high drive are welcome.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to speak a local language is a plus.
    • Skills: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
    • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in using mobile banking tools and basic MS Office applications.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base Salary: ₦93,000 Net monthly.
    • Incentives: Highly competitive commission structure with the potential to earn up to ₦500,000 monthly based on performance.
