    Registrar Liaison

    Job Description:

    • Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to resolve registrar-related issues and provide regular updates. 
    • Act as a communication bridge between brokers, registrars, and internal teams. 
    • Ensure timely processing and reconciliation of transactions such as share transfers, dividend retrievals, Transmission process and Heritage Services. 
    • Manage queries from Institutional and Retail Clients resolving issues efficiently and professionally 
    • Work with Registrars and Our counter parties to ensure the smooth flow of transactions. 
    • Liaison Duties: Act as a communication bridge between Our Firm, registrars, and Clients. 
    • Work with IT and operations to streamline and improve data flow between systems. 
    • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare periodic reports on transactions, volumes, and issue resolution status.
    • Monitor trends in broker/registrar queries to identify areas for process improvement. 
    • Verify/authenticate claims (i.e. certificates and transfer forms) as presented by clients 
    • Send/verify certificates and signed transfer form (s) within standard operating time of receiving it and proving feedback.
    • Assisting in reconciliation of shares certificates of clients with the assistance of the registrars. 
    • Dissemination of information of Corporate Actions, Right Issues, Public Offers, Bonuses and other relevant information to the Clients and colleagues. 

    Job Qualification:

    • Bachelor\'s Degree in any numerical discipline/accounting discipline from a recognized institution.
    • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a stockbroking firm.
    • In-depth understanding of the processes surrounding Registrars and other capital market functions.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication ability (oral and written).
    • Passion to push limits and get things done.
