Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and firm Recovery Officer to manage non-performing loans, conduct field visits, and negotiate effective debt repayment plans with delinquent clients while maintaining professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up with overdue borrowers.
• Conduct field visits and tracing to locate delinquent clients and assess collateral.
• Negotiate workable payment schedules to recover non-performing loans.
• Maintain accurate recovery records and submit weekly progress reports.
• Work with risk and legal teams on escalated accounts.

Requirements

• Education: [OND / HND / B.Sc. in Finance, Business, or related fields].
• Experience: 1–3 years in loan recovery or debt collection (MFB background preferred).
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of ethical debt collection practices and field tracing.
