Recovery Officer at Fadac Resources

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the account officer to assess default reasons and negotiate repayment plans
• Ensure overdue debts are collected promptly and professionally
• Maintain regular contact with delinquent customers through calls, emails, and physical visits
• Provide support and assistance to customers on repayment options
• Take legal action to recover outstanding debts when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of all communications and payment agreements
• Track and monitor loan repayment schedules
• Issue demand notices and reminders to defaulters
• Provide feedback to credit department on risk trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND holder
• 2-4 years of experience in a related role
• MCP is an added advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Technical skills including negotiation and knowledge of microfinance regulations
• Ability to work under intensive pressure
• Proficiency in MS Office and Core banking application software (BankOne)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and record-keeping
