• A Radio Station in the South Western Nigeria with growth potential in other geo-political zones requires the services of a General Manager with excellent cognate experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the station’s operations align with its mission and vision.
• Develop and implement the station’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Manage technical and broadcast operations to ensure high-quality output.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant broadcasting regulations and laws.
• Implement new technologies to improve station operations and listener experience.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in a relevant discipline from a reputable educational institution
• Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Managerial positions
• Familiarity with broadcasting technology and trends
• Proven experience in community and public relations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a diverse team
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges and emergencies
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Must think independently to make decisions under pressure.
