Quantity Surveyor at Ascentech Services Limited

Salary range: ₦300,000 – ₦350,000 monthly gross 

Role Information:

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for estimating construction costs and providing accurate quantity and cost verification services to support the project team. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of cost control in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compute takeoff and measurement of construction work for consultants’ tender documents and design drawings.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for road and building projects.
• Prepare tender documentation and cost estimates.
• Measure and value work done on-site, including structural, architectural, and MEP works.
• Prepare bills for engineering measurement and evaluation.
• Maintain records and produce periodic reports of quantities and activities.
• Conduct valuation and inspection of completed works.
• Evaluate and monitor the cost of site resources.
• Analyze project progress and prepare detailed cost reports.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of B.Sc. in Building or Quantity Surveying.
• 3–4 years of relevant work experience in quantity surveying within a well-structured construction environment.
• Membership of a recognized professional surveyor body is an added advantage.
