    Quality Improvement Specialist

    Job Overview:

    • Marigold Hospital and Critical Care Centre is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the quality of patient care and improve overall hospital operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for continuous improvement in healthcare.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with hospital staff and departments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
    • Prepare policies and ensure adherence to all relevant quality standards and regulations.
    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
    • Analyze data related to patient outcomes, hospital performance, and operational efficiency to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Facilitate training sessions and workshops for hospital staff on quality improvement methods and best practices.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented quality improvement initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on quality improvement activities and outcomes for hospital leadership.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality improvement in healthcare.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality improvement or a similar role in a healthcare setting.
    • Strong knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, PDSA cycles).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficient in data analysis and reporting using relevant software and tools.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and departments.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
