Quality Control Officer at Pally Agro Products Limited

Location: Ashipa Village, Ogun State

Position Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Quality Assurance Officer to oversee the quality and safety of our chicken processing operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols for chicken processing.
• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with HACCP and other food safety standards.
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed quality assurance records.
• Compile and interpret quality data, and report findings to relevant departments.
• Ensure all quality data is recorded in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify any deviations from quality standards and initiate corrective actions.
• Assist with external audits and inspections.
• Work with the production team to implement process improvements that enhance product quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Ensure all safety and hygiene regulations are followed in the processing facility.
• Address any safety or quality concerns promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance within the chicken processing or food industry.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
• Proven work experience as a Quality Assurance Officer or similar role.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot quality issues independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in using quality management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.
