Quality Control Officer at Autohaul Nigeria Limited

Job Summary

• The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet internal quality specifications and applicable regulatory standards.
• This role requires strong technical knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, laboratory testing procedures, and quality documentation systems.
• The ideal candidate must be analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving quality-related issues within the production process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process batches, and finished products
• Ensure all outgoing products meet internal specifications and regulatory requirements
• Monitor production processes to maintain quality consistency
• Identify product defects and non-conformities
• Maintain proper documentation of quality tests and inspection reports
• Investigate root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions
• Ensure defective products are quarantined, reworked, or discarded appropriately
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Work closely with production and operations teams to enhance product quality

 Requirements

• Minimum of HND or BSc in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 3–5 years relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing or production environment (experience in car care, detergents, or industrial chemicals is an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and laboratory testing methods
• Familiarity with manufacturing process control and documentation systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting and analysis)
• Age range: 28–33 years
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, disciplined, and quality-driven
• Applicants residing in Idimu, Ikotun, Ejigbo, Egbeda, Ipaja, Isolo, Igando, Iyana Ipaja, and surrounding areas will have an added advantage.
