    Quality Assurance Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for ensuring consistent product quality, food safety compliance, and effective process monitoring across all production lines in an FMCG manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct hourly quality checks on all production lines to ensure compliance with approved standards.
    • Inspect raw and packaging materials before use in production.
    • Monitor critical process parameters and maintain accurate QA records.
    • Escalate quality deviations, non-conformances, and food safety issues promptly.
    • Ensure only conforming finished products are released to the warehouse.
    • Carry out in-line inspections including weight checks, coding, and seal integrity verification.
    • Monitor GMP, hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping compliance across production areas.
    • Support sampling, product retention, and laboratory testing activities.
    • Assist in investigations of customer complaints and product quality issues.
    • Ensure compliance with FSSC 22000, HACCP, and other food safety standards.
    • Support audits, validations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. / HND in Food Science & Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Science Laboratory Technology, or related discipline.
    • 2–4 years FMCG manufacturing experience.
    • Good knowledge of food safety and quality management systems.
    • Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, and production processes.
    • Good documentation and reporting skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to detect quality issues.
