    Quality Assurance Manager

    Description 

    • The Company is currently seeking to hire a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all the QA procedures and monitoring of agro-manufacturing materials ensuring a safety management system.

    Job Objective

    • This role be responsible for QAQC procedures, coordinates and supervises all quality control and quality assurance related activities including but not limited to incoming raw materials inspection and analysis, monitoring of intermediate materials, finished products, packaging material, Physicochemical analysis, and microbial analysis. He/she will also ensure a food safety management system (HACCPs) is up to date, handling of non-compliance and customer complaints and implementing of CAPA. He/ She will also facilitate a quality management system, environmental management system and occupational health and safety management and responsible for handling all facility audits and liaise with customers and regulatory authorities.
    • The Ideal candidate will lead the Company’s Food Safety System Certification (FSSC 22000) project.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develops quality assurance plans and procedures by initiating preventive measures plans, establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
    • Manage the company laboratory and packaging team
    • Ensures full compliance with QA/QC system/plan and management systems
    • Ensures finished goods are produced in line with standards and customer requirements/specifications
    • Identified source of non-conformity and implemented control measures
    • Championing root cause analysis (RCA) in the event of quality defect or system failure.
    • Maintains cordial relationship with all government regulatory agencies
    • Conducts internal audit and handling of all external audits relating to food management systems
    • Develop and review standard operating procedures
    • Ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory/statutory requirements
    • Training programs and capability building
    • Document management/control system
    • FSSC project lead

    Key Requirements

    • A Degree / Higher National Diploma in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Industrial chemistry and any other related fields
    • 5+ years relevant working experience.
    • Professional qualification will be an added advantage.
    • Previous experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
    • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
    • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
    • Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
    • Great attention to detail and a result-driven approach
    • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
    • Reliable and Trustworthy
