Public Relations (PR) Strategist at Survival Agricultural Hub Limited

Job Description

• We are looking for a competent Public Relations (PR) Specialist to shape and protect our corporate image in ways that promote our business, values and mission.
• You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

Responsibilities

• Formulate PR plans, strategies and support the implementation of promotional plans.
• Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels.
• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences while monitoring SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals.
• Write press releases, speeches and other PR copy.
• Plan and supervise events, fairs, conferences.
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout). Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
• Facilitate the resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors and present solutions in times of PR crisis.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience as public relations specialist, social media manager or similar position
• Experience in copywriting and editing
• Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent skills in presentation and public speaking
• Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
• Knowledge of online marketing channels.
