This is a full-time, on-site role for a Psychologist located in Lagos.
Responsibilities include providing psychological assessments, delivering counseling services, supporting clients with mental health concerns, and adhering to clinical best practices.
The Psychologist will work collaboratively with the institute's team and local community partners to promote mental well-being and support professional counseling development.
The role also involves mentoring students and contributing to counseling education initiatives.
Qualifications
Profound knowledge in Psychology and Counseling, with expertise in understanding human behavior and mental processes.
Experience capacity in research and high capacity lecturing
Proficiency in Mental Health care practices, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and interventions.
Experience in conducting Psychological Assessments and evaluations to support informed clinical decisions.
Familiarity with concepts in Medicine as it relates to psychological care and patient well-being.
Strong ethical judgment, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related fields (Ph.D. is a plus).
License or certification to practice as a psychologist or counselor in Nigeria.
Experience working in a clinical or community-based setting is advantageous.
