Projectionist at Genesis Deluxe Cinemas (GDC)

Responsibilities

• To run the projection room and operation of the projector and digital equipment.
• To schedule in pre-approved film programme, including relevant advertising pre-roll.
• Ingest to server all content (from physical hard-drives, LANsat or Unique servers)
• Receive the key for digital films and ensure they are screened as instructed by the distributor.
• Be responsible for ensuring the pre-rollis scheduled in correctly and in the allocated time slot.
• Handle and project from a wide array of digital formats
• Manage any last-minute, live projection errors onsite and from offsite where possible

Requirements

• Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in High-Pressure situations (Deadlines/High Profile etc.)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Provide internal technical support and respond to the business regarding technical questions.
• Candidates must have one to two years of experience in a post production environment.
• Candidates must be living in cly proximity Maryland, Festac, Lekki, and Ceddi Abuja.
