    Project Manager Intern

    Position Description:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and organized intern to join our team as a Project Manager Intern. As a Project Manager Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization in delivering successful projects. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in project management and develop valuable skills for a successful career.     Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Coordinate project activities, including assigning tasks, allocating resources, and managing timelines.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure timely completion of project deliverables within budget and meet the required quality standards.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, risk and issue logs, and project reports.
    • Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
    • Actively participate in projects to drive successful outcomes.
    • Conduct research and analysis to support project activities as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Currently a serving Corps member yet to be assigned a Primary Place of Assignment (PPA).
    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, project management, or a related field.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to interact effectively with others.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools/software.
    • Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, techniques, and an understanding of AI tools is a plus.
    • Willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.

    Duration and Compensation:

    This is an internship position with a duration of approximately 3 to 6 months, based on the project's requirements and the intern's availability. Interns will receive allowances, performance incentives, and other necessary motivation to support their learning and development.
