Project Manager (Construction) at Global Placers

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee all phases of construction projects (residential, commercial, or industrial).
• Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate and supervise site engineers, subcontractors, and artisans.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Prepare progress reports, cost tracking, and project documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to construction schedules.
• Manage stakeholder communications — clients, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Resolve site issues, technical challenges, and material delays effectively.
• Approve materials, drawings, and change orders in line with project scope.
• Ensure project handover documentation and final acceptance

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• B.Sc. / HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 6–10 years’ experience in building or infrastructure project management.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering medium to large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contract management.
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Excel.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• PMP, PRINCE2, or COREN certification is an added advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and Nigerian construction regulations.
