    Project Management Officer

    Remuneration: N120,000 – N170,000 + Bonus + Benefits

    About the Role:

    The project management office is responsible for defining, maintaining and overseeing the process and implementation of project management standards across the organization. The PMO is tasked with ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

    This role requires a unique combination of E2E Project management experience and leading, supervising, coordinating, and directing team efforts towards achieving set goals. You will be working closely with Business Development Executives to ensure project leads are assessed correctly and 
    aligned with corresponding plan of action with collaboration with the product management team. The successful individual in this role will need to possess strong leadership, communications and stakeholder management and client relationship skills with a strong technical understanding of SDLC. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Take lead and ownership of all projects and act as Process Owner
    • Drive a sense of urgency and accountability relative to project performance and key milestones
    • Guide employees in developing new or revising existing standard operating procedures
    • Project execution map and associated stage deliverables
    • PM workbook (Risks, Issues, Change Management, lessons learned, financial summary, RFI/RFP, etc)
    • Plan, develop, and execute Continuous Improvement activities
    • Provide insights and recommendations for the annual strategic planning process
    • Be involved in the prioritization of CI initiatives
    • Coach the organization towards best-in-class use of the tool
    • Happy to question and challenge peers & managers when processes and procedures do not meet  expectations.
    • Provide adequate support for Digital Marketing representatives to ensure improvement brand and commercial  awareness of the products and services offered by Gurugeeks
    • Leveraging on SDLC and PDLC principles in management project effectively

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, information Technology, or related field.
    • Certified PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum Master
    • Proven track record of successful E2E project management experience
    • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Project management lead role
    • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate technical 
    • concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
