Drilling Fluids Mud Engineer at a Reputable Oil Drilling Company

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

1. Monitor each Drilling operation and ensure on location are up-to-date with end of well recap.
2. Ensure testing equipment are all well maintained and calibrated as at when due
3. Work with Liquid Mud Plant to confirm accurate volume prepared and loaded to clients
4. Work with lab to confirm final fluids check as regards properties expected arer according to fluids program
5. Check with Lab Technicians for any QA/QC tests required on Chemicals from clients and monitor same for accuracy
6. Attend daily online drilling operational meetings with clients and act on issues that needs attention. Attend DWOP, CWOP, and AAR meetings as directed
7. Be involved in preperation of technical bids for Drilling and Completion Fluids ENgineering Services
8. Work with technical team to ensure that all mud engineering services provided to clients are done excellently as instructed by Management
9. Check with logistics on all chemicals loaded out to the rig for accuracy and completeness
10. Make sure correct equipment and reagents are loaded out to the rig as per request and sign off on the load out sheet
11. Monitor and ensure that all Quality, Health, Safety & Environment legislation is complied with at all times and ensure a safe working environment for all workers
12. Conducting inspections and audits to identify and eliminate hazards and risks in the workplace
13. Other duties as assigned
