Job Description

• General responsibility for handling technical problems on sites
• Overseeing troubleshooting on AC/DC solutions deployed to IPT Managed sites
• Providing online, real-time and remote support to maintenance teams on IPT solutions
• Preparing MR (Material Requests) for the repairs of solutions on sites
• Supervising the transportation and deployment of spare parts to sites based on troubleshooting results
• Cross-check field reports for reliability, validity and correctness
• Assigning teams for field support jobs
• Routine visits to sites for battery testing and replacements
• Coordinating Alarm simulations on sites
• Coordinating Technical Support reports
• Coordinating spares activities in the regional warehouses.

Qualifications

• B.Eng in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics / Telecoms Engineering)
• At least 5 years working experience in similar role preferably Electrical, Electronics engineering in the telecom Industry.
• Ability to work on machines and generators
• Understanding of workflow systems and in-depth understanding of Electrical workflows
• Must be process oriented
• Analytic ability to determine user problems and recommend solutions
• Ability to communicate step-by-step process for troubleshooting, fault finding and providing resolutions
• Must be result oriented
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office suite and advanced Excel
• Proven problem solving skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Established skills to coach and mentor less experienced Technical Support Officers
• Ability to work effectively with remote teams.
