    Project Coordinator

    ROLES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and scope. Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Identify required resources and coordinate their allocation.
    • Act as a central point of contact for project teams, clients, and subcontractors. Coordinate project activities, meetings, and communications. Ensure that all stakeholders are well-informed about project progress, milestones, and potential risks.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, and change requests. Prepare regular reports on project status, key performance indicators (KPIs), and financials. Identify and escalate any deviations from the project plan.
    • Monitor and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of resources. Track resource utilisation and make recommendations for optimization.
    • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and assess potential risks throughout the project lifecycle. Communicate risks to relevant stakeholders and take proactive measures to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
    • Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality control procedures. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    • Assist in budget development and tracking. Monitor project expenses, including labour, materials, and subcontractor costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to cost control efforts.
    •  Facilitate change management processes by assessing the impact of change requests, coordinating change implementation, and communicating changes to relevant stakeholders. Ensure proper documentation of approved changes.
    • Foster effective collaboration among project team members. Provide administrative and logistical support, such as scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements, and maintaining project-related databases. Facilitate effective communication and information sharing.
    • Identify lessons learned from completed projects and contribute to the development of best practices and process enhancements. Proactively seek opportunities to improve project management methodologies and tools.

    Requirements

    QUALIFICATION / SKILLS:

    • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as project management, Business Administration, Engineering and Telecommunication
    • Possessing a recognized project management certification.
    • Minimum of 8 years experience 
    •  Strong organizational and multitasking skills to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and allocate resources effectively.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with project teams, clients, and subcontractors. Ability to convey information clearly, listen actively, and facilitate effective collaboration.
    • Skill in managing relationships with various stakeholders, including project managers, team members, clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Ability to understand and address stakeholder needs, expectations, and concerns.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify project issues, assess risks, and propose appropriate solutions. Ability to think critically, make informed decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances.
    • Proficiency in creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, reports, and progress updates. Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting project activities, milestones, and changes.
    • Basic understanding of base station technologies and telecommunications infrastructure. Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
    • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment. Skill in building relationships, resolving conflicts, and motivating team members towards project goals.
    • Proficiency in project management software tools
