    Program Officer

    Job description

    Manage and monitor grants and prepare funding reports. Provide guidance and maintain frequent communications with program partners. Analyze and troubleshoot program challenges. Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for programs.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the designing and implantation of programs for NGOs
    • Monitoring and evaluation of programs
    • Preparation of ⁠impact reports , analytics and metrics
    • Researching grant proposals and funding opportunities, and writing of proposals to access these grants.
    • Understanding organizational goals and objectives and creating programs that adhere to these guidelines
    • Implementing programs and projects to help organizations meet goals and objectives
    • Apply project management knowledge regarding development, staffing, budgeting andscheduling.
    • Developing relationships with various community, governmental and other nonprofit organizations to raise funds and awareness and build resources


    • The ideal candidate possesses a B.Sc. in a relevant field such Monitoring and Evaluation etc, and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
    • Ability to work efficiently independently
    • Organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communications skill; written and spoken
    • Good presentation skills
    • A deep commitment to global health and development issues practices.


    • Proficiency in all programs in the Microsoft Office Suite; experience in other computer programs desired
    • Ability to work with High Speed and Accuracy
