    Program Manager

    As part of this mission, we are seeking a Program Manager to lead the \\ strategic and operational development of our programs. This role will be central to ensuring that the hub’s initiatives contribute to community transformation through creativity, innovation, and social impact. This position is part of a 6-month pilot project, with the intention to establish an institutional program if successful. Future funding and sustainability will depend on the success of this phase.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Program Development and Management

    • Design, implement, and manage innovative programs focused on creativity, technology,and social entrepreneurship.
    • Lead the strategic planning and execution of innovation projects in alignment with Co-Dev Hub’s goals.
    • Establish program goals, objectives, and timelines while ensuring programs contribute to the social and economic development of the community.
    • Continuously monitor, evaluate, and report on program performance to guide strategic direction.

    Collaboration and Partnership Development

    • Build and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including
    • entrepreneurs, academic institutions, NGOs, and industry partners.
    • Engage community leaders and relevant actors to ensure projects address local needs and opportunities.
    • Actively participate in securing funding opportunities and promoting the Hub\'s initiatives in regional and international forums.

    Project Management and Execution

    • Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective execution of innovation projects.
    • Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and on time.
    • Track progress, troubleshoot challenges, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

    Social Impact and Innovation Focus

    • Foster a collaborative and creative environment that encourages experimentation and innovation in addressing social challenges.
    • Oversee the implementation of community-centered innovation projects that drive social impact, particularly in Northeast Nigeria.
    • Support social entrepreneurs and creative leaders in scaling their ideas into impactful initiatives.

    Financial Management

    • Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring resources are effectively allocated.
    • Identify funding opportunities and collaborate with partners to secure grants, sponsorships, and other forms of support.
    • Prepare financial reports, track expenditures, and ensure that all financial processes align with organizational policies.

    Compliance and Legal Knowledge

    • Ensure all programs and projects comply with relevant regulations, policies, and industry standards.
    • Support intellectual property management by overseeing IP creation and securing appropriate patents where necessary.

    Research and Analysis

    • Conduct research to identify emerging trends in social innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
    • Provide the leadership team with data-driven recommendations on the feasibility and potential impact of new ideas.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and other communication tools to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.

    Organizational Culture and Communication

    • Promote a culture of creativity and innovation within the Hub.
    • Organize workshops, seminars, and engagement activities to stimulate learning and community-building.
    • Communicate program goals, progress, and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders through various channels.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor\'s degree in any field is required; a Master\'s degree is an advantage.
    • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in program management, particularly in social innovation, technology, or entrepreneurial ecosystems.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Strong project management, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
    • Experience in navigating regulatory environments related to social innovation and intellectual property.
    • Ability to drive change and build consensus across various levels of the organization.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
    • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and Slack.
