    Program Intern

    Position Summary: Provides program support to all projects under the supervision of the Project Director.

    Responsibilities

    Program/Technical Role:

    • Directly support the Project Director on all programmatic initiatives.
    • Support the development of work plans and budgets.
    • Support in planning for workshops and meetings
    • Collate and harmonize monthly activities reports.
    • Lead the development and tracking of monthly activity calendar.
    • Provide program support to the technical team.
    • Provide logistics and admin support during program meetings.
    • Support in the collation of reports and success story development from the projects.
    • Any other tasks as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Degree in International Development, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 1 Year Post NYSC experience in a similar role in the NGO sector.
    • Motivated to work with tight deadlines and ambitious targets,
    • Outstanding communication skills (oral and written).
    • Able to process large amounts of information quickly and take decisions to solve problems.
    • Capable of working effectively in a team and independently when required.
    •  Proficient in English (any other foreign language is an asset) Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
