Production Supervisor at CWAY Foods and Beverages Nigeria

Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring that production targets are met. You will be working closely with a team of production employees, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day production activities, including scheduling and supervising employees to meet production targets
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and procedures, including conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as required
• Train and develop production employees on best practices and standard operating procedures
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring materials and supplies are readily available for production
• Coordinate with other departments, such as quality assurance and maintenance, to address any production issues or equipment malfunctions
• Implement and improve production processes to optimize productivity and reduce waste
• Ensure all safety guidelines and regulations are followed by production staff, maintaining a safe working environment

Requirements

• Minimum of two years experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing industry
• Bachelors degree in food science, microbiology any engineering background etc.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and safety regulations
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure
• Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using production software eg SAP  and tools to track and monitor production activities
