The Production Manager will oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production of high-quality food products. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in the FMCG food industry, with proven experience leading large teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and oversee daily production activities to meet output targets.
Ensure production is carried out in compliance with food safety, GMP, quality, and regulatory standards.
Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
Oversee production scheduling, resource allocation, and equipment utilization.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams.
Track production KPIs and generate performance reports for management.
Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and environmental guidelines.
Lead, train, and supervise production supervisors and line workers.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Manage raw material usage and support cost control initiatives.
Requirements
10–15 years of experience in FMCG manufacturing, specifically in food production.
Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
Strong understanding of food processing, packaging, and quality control standards.
Proven experience managing large teams and factory operations.
Excellent knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and other food compliance systems.
Ability to analyze production data and drive operational efficiency.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
