Product Manager (Tech) at Global Placers

Position Overview

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from strategic planning to tactical activities.
• This role requires a blend of technical and business acumen to drive product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and own the product roadmap based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to define product requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct market research, user interviews, and usability studies to inform product decisions and prioritize features.
• Define and analyze key metrics to measure product success and iterate on strategies to achieve business goals.
• Champion the product internally and externally, providing product demonstrations, presentations, and support for sales and marketing initiatives.
• Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of releases.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required; an MBA or equivalent experience would be considered a plus.
• Proven experience of 2+ years as a Product Manager or similar role in the tech industry, with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. You should have strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.
• You must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in Agile project management technologies such as JIRA, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, and Confluence, as well as collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
• Familiarity with product roadmapping tools like Aha! and ProductPlan, and version control platforms like GitHub and GitLab.
