    Product Manager - Payment Terminal Solutions

    Job Summary:

    • As a Product Manager for Payment Terminal Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for our company's payment terminal solutions.
    • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, design, sales, and Client delivery, to deliver innovative and customer-centric payment solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
    • Your primary focus will be on understanding market trends, gathering customer insights, and translating them into actionable plans to drive the success of our payment terminal products

    Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Roadmap:

    • Define and communicate a clear product strategy and vision for the payment terminal solutions, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and product opportunities.
    • Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines the timeline, priorities, and key milestones for the payment terminal solutions.

    Product Planning and Execution:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, and operations, to define detailed product requirements and specifications.
    • Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
    • Work closely with the development team to ensure timely and successful product delivery, managing the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch activities.

    Customer Insights and Feedback:

    • Conduct user research, customer interviews, and usability studies to gain deep insights into customer needs, pain points, and behaviors related to payment terminal solutions.
    • Continuously gather customer feedback through surveys, user testing, and feedback channels to inform product improvements and identify opportunities for innovation.
    • Serve as a customer advocate, representing their voice within the organization and ensuring their needs are met through product development initiatives.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with the design team to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the payment terminal solutions, ensuring a seamless user experience.
    • Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.
    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth deployment, maintenance, and support processes for the payment terminal solutions.

    Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the payment terminal solutions and regularly monitor and analyze product performance against set targets.
    • Utilize data analytics and insights to drive data-driven decision-making, identify areas for improvement, and optimize the product features and functionalities.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the payment solutions domain to ensure our product remains competitive and compliant.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience of 4+ years in product management, preferably in the fintech or payment solutions industry.
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian fintech ecosystem, payment terminal solutions, including POS systems, card readers, mobile payment solutions, and related technologies.
    • Demonstrated ability to translate customer insights into actionable product plans and strategies.
    • Proficient in product management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Strong project management abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • A strategic mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
