    Procurement Officer

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
    • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quality materials and services at competitive prices.
    • Manage relationships with suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance with terms of contracts.
    • Coordinate procurement planning and budgeting activities for ongoing and upcoming real estate projects.
    • Conduct regular market surveys and price benchmarking.
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of purchase orders and documentation.
    • Monitor and track deliveries, resolve issues related to damaged or missing goods.
    • Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and procurement records.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal policies, and budget controls.
    • Work closely with project teams, facilities managers, and finance departments to align purchasing needs.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
    • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems).
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
    • Integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

    Desirable Attributes:

    • Membership of a professional body such as CIPS, NIPSM, or SCMN.
    • Knowledge of local real estate market and construction supply chain networks.
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
