Procurement Officer at Dreams by DV8 Hotel

Responsibilities

• Identify potential suppliers/vendors through market research and solicit bids or proposals for goods and services.
• Evaluate and compare vendor quotations, negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure the best deals for the organization.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
• Generate purchase orders based on approved requisitions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Review purchase requisitions for completeness, clarity, and appropriate approval levels.
• Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods or services.
• Ensure all contracts and agreements with vendors are properly documented, maintained, and adhered to.
• Review contract terms, conditions, and performance to mitigate risks and optimize supplier performance.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
• Generate procurement reports for management as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role.in the hospitality industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes, sourcing, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical practices in procurement.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
