Procurement Intern

Description
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Regularly assess suppliers’ performance based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Complete procurement documentation in the shortest time frame authorized.
- Ensure there are no backlogs of untreated documentation.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and inventory teams to understand material requirements.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials
- Build quality vendor relationships to facilitate credit facilities when needed.
- Continually build healthy vendor bases and research for new vendors with the right capacity and best practices.
