Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect ‘all’ incoming goods to ensure that they meet the required standards and specifications. (Quality control)
• Raise MRN (Materials Received Notes)
• Update Bin card and soft records immediately.
• Ensure that all materials are issued out from the “Bill of materials ” using the “Request form”.
• Monitor all materials stock levels and raise “Request for materials”, at least 4 weeks before every materials stock falls below the “Re-order Level”.
• Ensure that all stock items are properly labeled, categorized, and stored in a manner that makes them easy to locate and retrieve, and save from damage.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and inventory, and prepare “daily” and “weekly” reports to track stock movement and identify trends or potential issues.

Requirement

• Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree.

Description 

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers.
• Regularly assess suppliers’ performance based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Complete procurement documentation in the shortest time frame authorized.
• Ensure there are no backlogs of untreated documentation.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and inventory teams to understand material requirements.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials
• Build quality vendor relationships to facilitate credit facilities when needed.
• Continually build healthy vendor bases and research for new vendors with the right capacity and best practices.

Job Summary

• Oversee the construction of projects and monitor activities at worksites.
• Coordinate and see to completion of projects on time within budget & scope
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities & monitor, and summarize the progress of the project
• Develop contracts, and liaise with subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation.
• Order, purchase and manage distribution of materials & equipment to workers
• Develop, initiate, and coordinate project work
• Assess, modify, and upgrade project work
• Troubleshoot and resolve large complex issues and problems
• Organize and update databases and information
• Ensure that products meet industry standards and project specifications and make adjustments as necessary
• Monitor & see the inventory of all equipment, tools, machines, and generators used in and out of sites.
• Communicate the schedule for the day, scheduling changes, and relevant infrastructure shifts to staff.
• Coordinate and track project progress and schedules
• See to supervision and implementation of daily site reports
• See to workers' compliance of all safety rules.
• Any other related tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Requirement

• HND / BSc Degree in Architecture / Engineering.
