Liaising with the construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
Promoting teamwork, setting performance indicators, and ensuring a culture of high performance among team members
Overseeing the practicality of project designs.
Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications
Producing detailed workings drawings, and specifications; specifying the nature and quality of materials required
Coordinating the work of other building industry professionals to produce comprehensive, detailed, and harmonized construction documents.
Managing new building designs, extensions, alterations, restorations, and conservations from the earliest stages right through to completion. The goal is to match client’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs.
Ensuring that all Projects are designed to specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.
BASIC SKILL SET:
Strong portfolio to prove strong design skills.
Expert knowledge of building Materials, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Autodesk Revit, Lumion, SketchUp, Autodesk 3ds Max or similar software)
Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions.
Visual awareness and an eye for detail.
Good Communication and project management skills
Excellent organisational, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think methodically to design, plan and manage projects.
Ability to Multi-task and deliver within tight timelines
Excellent manager of people and Resources with strong delegation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in Architecture.
At least 7 years relevant experience.
Must be an ARCON registered Architect or in the process of obtaining the registration
