Power Plant Mechanical Engineer at BU Power Limited

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement maintenance schedules and procedures for CAT GAS Generator systems
• Develop and implement strategies for the efficient running of the CAT Gas generator
• Monitor and analyze generator metrics, identifying areas for improvement
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend preventive and corrective measures to them
• Coordinate corrective maintenance based on manufacturer’s recommendations, based practices and regulatory requirement
• Make scheduled outages and equipment shutdown decisions if needed
• Collaborate with other teammates for the efficient running of the plant
• Properly understudy any assigned role as the secondary engineer
• Cost efficient operation of the G3520
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to gas generator and diesel fired engine
• Determines material, manpower and service requirement
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in gas engine technology and power generation
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship understudy or secondary engineer
• Effective clarity in communications and relations on within the organization for effective running of the organization

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
• Candidates must have experience with MWM Gas Generators or CAT GAS Generators.
