We are recruiting for a client in the telecommunications sector looking to hire Power Engineers to maintain and optimize BTS power supply equipment. This role involves handling power failures, solar energy & inverter installations, and UPS systems, ensuring seamless power operations for telecom infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Power System Design & Planning – Develop base station power supply solutions, calculate power capacity, and ensure industry-standard safety measures.
Equipment Installation & Commissioning – Guide installation and testing of batteries, power distribution cabinets, UPS, and switching power supplies.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting – Regularly inspect power systems, analyze alarms, handle sudden power failures, and develop emergency supply plans.
System Optimization & Energy Efficiency – Analyze power consumption, upgrade equipment, and integrate new technologies like AI energy management & hybrid power supply.
Technical Documentation & Compliance – Maintain reports, inspection records, SOPs, and implement best practices for power management.
Requirements:
Education & Experience: Background in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field with experience in BTS power systems.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in solar energy, inverters, UPS, generators, and battery management
Strong troubleshooting & maintenance experience
Knowledge of lightning protection, grounding, and power distribution safety protocols
Familiarity with PV/hybrid power solutions & AI-based energy management
Work Commitment: Must be available 24/7 for standby and emergency response.
