Job Summary:

A Porter is a staff member who provides a range of services to guests, primarily focused on assisting with luggage and providing general assistance. They are often the first point of contact for guest upon arrival, helping with their bags and directing them to their rooms. Porters also answer guest inquiries, offer information about hotel facilities and may assit with errands or other tasks to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests, with their luggage or belongings.
• Transport items (supplies, equipment, or furniture) within the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, corridors, and restrooms.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a porter.
• Good physical condition – able to lift heavy objects and stand or walk for long periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts
