    Policy and Advocacy Officer

    Responsibilities
    As a Policy and Advocacy Officer (Volunteer), you will play a key role in advancing CHDFNigeria’s mission by:

    • Developing and implementing advocacy strategies to influence health policy at local, state, and national levels.
    • Building partnerships with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and the media.
    • Drafting policy briefs, position papers, and advocacy materials.
    • Organizing campaigns, events, and stakeholder engagements.
    • Monitoring policy developments and advising the foundation on strategic responses.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in policy analysis, advocacy, or public affairs (preferably in the health sector).
    • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s health policy landscape.
    • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Commitment to volunteerism and social impact.
