Planned Maintenance Technician - Packaging at Champion Breweries

• The PM Technician Packaging is responsible for ensuring optimal equipment reliability and uptime within the packaging department by executing both preventive and corrective maintenance.
• This position plays a key role in supporting operations, minimizing machine downtime, and fostering a culture of proactive equipment care and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance in line with safety standards (LOTO, PTW).
• Identify and report anomalies or defects in equipment.
• Convert physical tags to digital notifications in the maintenance management system.
• Support spare parts planning and FIM (Full Inspection Maintenance) activities.
• Participate in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) improvement teams and support BD (Breakdown) analysis.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards including Quality (9001), Food Safety (22000), Environment (14001), and Occupational Health & Safety (45001).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in line with 55 standards.
• Provide mentorship and technical knowledge-sharing to team members.

Reporting Line

• The role reports to PM Team Leader with dotted line to Line Manger Packaging and Packaging Operations and Maintenance Manager.

Qualification

• Educational Qualification: NABTEB or OND in Engineering, Sciences, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a machine technician role
• Strong understanding of mechanical and basic automation systems.
• Hands-on experience with PM systems and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is an advantage.
• Effective communication, safety awareness, and teamwork orientation.
