Under the supervision of the Senior Technical Advisor – Pharmacy will provide technical and programmatic support in strengthening pharmacy systems and building pharmacist’s capacity on Best Practices in the provision of pharmaceutical care for anti-retroviral therapy, prevention of mother-to-child transmission and tuberculosis including inventory management and other related services at community and hospital pharmacies.
Will support capacity building of pharmacy staff to deliver high-quality services for HIV, TB/HIV and TB within supported health facilities and in the community.
Any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Recruitment Standard
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D)
MSc/MPH in Public Health or related field
10 years post qualification experience
5 years of relevant experience in HIV/AIDS with international pharmacy development programs
Experience in HIV/AIDS Monitoring and Evaluation
Proficiency in MS Access, SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and other Office packages.
Proficiency in the use of email and internet.
Fluency in English; excellent communication and report writing skills required.
