    Pharmacy Assistant

    About the Role

    • Our client in the pharmaceutical industry seeks to hire a Pharmacy Assistant. The ideal candidate will support the pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.
    • This role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications.
    • Provide customers with basic drug information and direct them to the pharmacist for detailed counseling.
    • Label, package, and organize medications under supervision.
    • Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and customer transactions.
    • Restock shelves and ensure all products are properly labeled and within expiry dates.
    • Handle point-of-sale transactions and manage cash register duties.
    • Support in ordering, receiving, and arranging pharmaceutical supplies.
    • Assist with monthly inventory audits and stock management.
    • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment.
    • Follow all pharmacy guidelines, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of OND or relevant certification in health sciences or related fields.
    • 1–2 years experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy.
    • Basic understanding of medications, dosage forms, and pharmacy operations.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and accuracy.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and handle pressure.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office or pharmacy software is an added advantage.

    Working Hours:

    • Onsite, full-time (Monday – Saturday schedule).
